The Flagstaff community
prides itself in offering top-notch accredited educational programs from pre-school in addition
to several private and parochial schools in the city.
The Flagstaff Unified
School District (FUSD) provides traditional and vocational education
to approximately 12,000 students who are enrolled in 12 elementary schools
(K-6), three middle schools (7-8), and three high schools (9-12).
Charter
schools offer educational courses from the elementary through high school
level. These schools emphasize an alternative setting of education with
small cluster classes focussing on the arts, academics, and computer
based learning.

Coconino
Community College
Back To School Article by CCC The fastest growing community
college in the state, Coconino Community College offers a variety of
two-year associate degree programs. The College has 5 campuses – 2 in
Flagstaff and 1 in Page, Williams and Grand Canyon.
Northern
Arizona University
Home to nearly 20,000
enrolled students, the mountain campus of Northern Arizona University,
located in the heart of Flagstaff, is ranked in the top ten percent
in the nation in terms of size. Theuniversity offers over 120 undergraduate,
graduate, and doctoral programs in the arts & science, business,
forestry, physical therapy, nursing, and hotel & restaurant management.
The athletic program is part of the Big Sky Conference.
